I designed this 8 by 22 foot mural for Mural Arts Philadelphia in collaboration with Southern Land Company on Sansom Street. Mural Arts Philadelphia selected me alongside 11 other local artists to create 11 digitally-printed murals that wrap around a current development project that's under construction until 2024. Instead of having a boring green fence screen, now there's more than 3,000 square feet of original artwork along the construction fencing creating the largest single street art installation in Center City.
My intention for this mural was to inject an otherwise drab construction area with colorful imagery that reminds people to enjoy the everyday year-round. This mural full of cute and light-hearted vignettes does just that in the heart of of Philadelphia.
